Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-31

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) sets out the rules that apply when you use Haulbi. It forms part of the Terms of Service; capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. Prohibited uses

You may not use Haulbi to:

  • Illegal content or activity. Store, transmit or process any content that violates applicable law, including content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or that promotes violence or discrimination.
  • Security attacks. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Haulbi system or network, or to bypass authentication or security measures.
  • Malware. Distribute viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or surreptitiously monitor systems or data.
  • Spam & unsolicited communications. Send unsolicited bulk email, messages, or other communications in violation of applicable anti-spam laws (e.g. GDPR e-privacy rules, CAN-SPAM, DSGVO).
  • Intellectual-property infringement. Upload or share content that infringes the intellectual-property rights of third parties (copyright, trademark, trade secrets, etc.).
  • Reverse engineering. Decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code, trade secrets, or underlying ideas of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Scraping at scale. Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access or copy the Service or its content beyond what is necessary for legitimate use of the Service or for non-commercial indexing of public marketing pages.
  • Crypto-mining. Use Haulbi compute or storage resources for cryptocurrency mining or similar resource-intensive workloads unrelated to the Service.
  • Multi-tenant abuse. Use the Service in a way that materially interferes with or degrades the experience of other customers, including by consuming disproportionate resources or circumventing fair-use limits.
  • Sanctions. Use the Service in violation of applicable export-control or sanctions regulations, or from a sanctioned jurisdiction.

You are responsible for the actions of your users and for any content you upload to the Service.

2. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and take appropriate, proportionate action. Typical steps are:

  1. Warning. For minor or first-time incidents we will usually notify the affected Customer and request remediation within a reasonable time.
  2. Suspension. For repeated, serious, or continuing violations we may suspend the affected workspace, API keys, or specific users while the issue is investigated and resolved.
  3. Termination. For material breach we may terminate the customer’s subscription for cause under the Terms of Service, with no refund.

We will, where lawful and practical, give advance notice and an opportunity to cure before suspending or terminating. We may act without notice where continued operation would compromise the security or availability of the Service or other customers, or where we are compelled by valid legal process.

3. Reporting abuse

If you become aware of any content, activity or user that violates this AUP, or that you believe infringes your rights, please report it to our abuse team:

abuse@haulbi.com[TODO: legal review — abuse@haulbi.com is a placeholder address; replace with the mailbox reserved for abuse reports.]

Please include enough detail for us to identify the relevant workspace, user, content or activity (URLs, timestamps, reproducible steps) so that we can investigate.

4. Changes

We may update this AUP to address new risks or align with evolving legal and security requirements. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
